ICU RN Job in Santa Fe, New Mexico

CHRISTUS St Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN for its Intensive Care Unit on the night shift. This is a full-time travel position lasting 91 days, beginning June 29, 2026.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating requirements to other unit locations as needed
• Weekly pay: $2,019.60

Core Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement patient care tailored to the age of the patient population served
• Obtain and record initial assessments and establish care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care within established timeframes
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions grounded in interpretation of clinical facts and patient evaluations
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures
• Delegate unit work assignments and coordinate team assignments
• Utilize effective communication strategies and appropriate chain of command
• Participate in orientation of new staff and students
• Maintain positive attendance and communicate any work absences in advance
• Demonstrate knowledge and sensitivity to patients' rights in care delivery

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• BLS certification from AHA
• ACLS certification from AHA
• TNCC certification from AHA
