ICU RN Job in Ottawa, KS

You will provide critical care nursing services in the Intensive Care Unit at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Ottawa, KS. This is a full-time travel nursing position with a 90-day assignment starting June 17, 2026.

Schedule and Hours

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours weekly)
• Night shift hours
• Every other weekend requirement based on scheduling needs
• No call requirements

Role Expectations

• Deliver direct patient care in the ICU setting
• Float to medical-surgical or intermediate care floors as the first to be floated off unit when needed
• Float to the Emergency Department as a resource nurse only
• Cannot float to mother baby tower

Required Credentials and Certifications

• Valid RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification

Compensation and Duration

• Weekly pay: $1,960.49
• 90-day assignment

You must maintain current nursing licensure and all required certifications throughout your assignment. This position offers the opportunity to gain intensive care experience in a structured environment with clearly defined floating parameters and no on-call obligations.
