Occupational Therapist Travel Job in Richmond, VA

You will work as an Occupational Therapist at CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus in Richmond, VA. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of June 22, 2026. You will work Monday through Friday on 4x10 day shifts, scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with rotating weekend coverage.

Assignment Details

• Work in a 44-bed rehab therapy unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Unit staffing includes 10 OT/PT teams, 3 speech therapists, and 1 tech
• May float to acute hospital if rehab census is low

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform stroke evaluation and treatment
• Provide manual therapy for neuro re-education, therapeutic exercise, functional activity, and neuromuscular re-education
• Address self-care needs and functional e-stim
• Utilize equipment including Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego
• Document using Meditech Expanse system
• Follow AIDET communication standards and immediate service recovery protocols

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
• Hospital and inpatient rehab experience required
• Stroke evaluation and treatment experience required

Compensation and Logistics

Weekly pay is $2,201. Dress code: Black scrub bottoms and royal blue top preferred.
