Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy

Job Details:

• 36 hours per week guaranteed with facility allowed to call off 3 times throughout 13-week assignment
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 1-2 late shifts per week required (scheduled past 5:30 PM, typically leaving between 7:00-8:00 PM)
• Float within scope to UH Endoscopy only
• Weekend coverage not required
• Minimum 1 year experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS
• Pending license accepted at time of submission
• Provided green scrubs or option to purchase black scrubs
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Free parking available
• Perform screening/surveillance colonoscopies, EGDs, esophageal manometries, anorectal manometries, pH studies, and paracentesis
• Circulate procedures, administer conscious sedation, telemetry skills preferred
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census of 12-24
• Work with 4 procedure rooms and 9 recovery beds
• Advanced procedures include POEMS, myotomies, TIF, EUS, and ERCPs
• New contracts and extensions must be at least 10 weeks
• No locals within 100-mile radius accepted
• RTO restrictions: greater than 7 days needs approval, no RTO during first 7 days or last day of contract
