Job Details:

• Full-time position working 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts
• Shift hours from 5:45 AM to 6:15 PM, primarily day shift with occasional other shifts as needed
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage will be filled based on need
• Cover inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department areas
• Inpatient duties include vent management, ABG draws, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, nebulizers, MDIs, Flutter/Airway Clearance
• Outpatient duties include setting up nocturnal pulse ox and blood gases
• Expected to treat 50-75+ patients per day depending on census
• Must be able to work independently, particularly on night shift where only one RT may be on duty
• Assist with intubation as needed
• Work with adults primarily, with exposure to pediatric and neonatal patients in the ED and L&D
• Must have ventilatory skills and minimum 2 years of experience in specialty
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Equipment used includes Hamilton Medical C1 & C3 Vents, Masimo SoftFlow High Flows, Masimo Pulse Oximeters, GEM5000 ABG analyzer, and ResMed bedside CPAP/BiPAP
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• No specific scrub color requirement
• 2-3 days of department-specific orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), RRT preferred but CRT acceptable
