Med Surg RN Job in Cleveland, OH

You'll work as an RN on a 30-bed medical/surgical unit at Cleveland Medical Center specializing in solid organ transplant and bariatric surgery. This is a 90-day travel position starting January 25, 2026.

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care for:

• Pre-operative and post-operative solid organ transplant patients (kidney, liver, pancreas)
• Post-operative bariatric surgery patients
• General medical and surgical patients

You may take on intermittent charge nurse responsibilities, and the unit offers charge training and shadowing opportunities to support your professional development.

Scheduling

You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week with every other weekend and every other holiday required. This schedule provides predictable time off while maintaining consistent patient relationships on your unit.

Unit Details

The unit currently operates 30 beds and will have 12 additional step-down beds available beginning October 15, 2025. These step-down beds will accommodate both step-down unit patients and medical/surgical overflow, giving you exposure to a broader range of acuity levels and patient populations.

Compensation

You'll earn $2,187.90 per week for this assignment.
