Electrophysiology Technician Job in Salisbury, NC

Join Novant Health Rowan Medical Center as an Electrophysiology Technician in our combined interventional radiology, cardiology, vascular, and electrophysiology lab environment. You will work 5x8 day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with every third weekend required and a minimum of 7 call days per month. Call callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs, with your team consisting of three staff members including an RN.

Your Role:

• Scrub and circulate interventional radiology, catheterization lab, and cardiology procedures
• Assist providers during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Handle urgent and emergent cardiology and interventional radiology cases
• Monitor telemetry and manage patient care for adult and geriatric populations
• Work with device implant procedures including PPM and ICD cases

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrophysiology or interventional radiology
• Current ACLS, BLS certifications
• ARRT or RCIS certification
• Demonstrated skills in scrubbing, circulating, and telemetry monitoring
• IR experience essential as approximately 90% of cases are interventional radiology

Preferred Qualifications:

• ARRT Advanced Certification, RCES, or RCIS with medical experience
• EKG lead placement skills

Work Environment:

You will work in a high-acuity combo lab setting with advanced equipment including GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, Angio Jet, Penumbra, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy System, Bovi System, Plasma Blade Cutter, Radiofrequency Ablation Unit, Venous Closure Unit, Sono Site, S2000 Ultrasound Unit, IABP, and Impella. Scrubs are provided. There is no float requirement for this role. Orientation runs 40 to 80 hours with you starting directly on the unit.

91-day assignment beginning August 31, 2026. Weekly pay: $2,872.80.
