Echo Technologist Job in High Point, NC

Cone Health - MedCenter High Point is seeking an Echo Technologist to join its radiology and cardiology services. You will work 4x9.5 hour evening shifts from 4:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, for a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound, abdominal, OB/GYN, renal/pelvis, small parts, and vascular carotid studies
• Conduct vascular Doppler studies and upper/lower extremity arterial examinations
• Cover outpatient and emergency department services
• Work independently with radiologist access via phone for urgent needs
• Treat all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Use PACS system and portable equipment
• Assist with patient transport and movement in other modalities when not busy in ultrasound

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sonography experience (no first-time travelers)
• SIEMENS and ACUSON equipment experience
• Current certifications: ARRT, RDMS AB/OB, RVT, BLS
• EPIC charting system experience

Assignment Details

You will receive 24 hours of orientation and are subject to float to any facility campus as needed. A zero-tolerance policy applies to tardiness and unexcused absences. Candidates must be willing to work outside a 50-mile local radius; local candidates are not accepted.

Weekly pay: $2,280.96. This is a travel position requiring relocation to the High Point area for the duration of the assignment.
