<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• 3x12 schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week<br>• 13-week assignment length<br>• Weekend hours and call requirements as required by facility<br>• Float requirements as needed by facility<br>• Must have Missouri RRT license with Missouri Board for Respiratory Care<br>• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only<br>• Preferred certification: PALS<br>• Minimum 1 year of experience required<br>• Must have adult critical care experience and high volume busy ED with trauma experience<br>• Preferred skills include blood gas draw, processing on GEM, and interpretation<br>• Work with respiratory patients throughout all hospital areas including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and Trauma patients<br>• Equipment includes Avea ventilators, LTV transport, V60 Bipap with Bellavista, Vapo therm and Airvo for high flow<br>• EMR system: EPIC<br>• Patient ratios based on point system and dependent on staffing<br>• Dress code requires black scrubs only<br>• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 - April 1<br>• Must be strong, confident therapist with good time management skills and willingness to help coworkers</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility has been serving the South County area for over 140 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
