<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)<br>• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract<br>• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required<br>• Float to all inpatient units as needed<br>• Can be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back<br>• Patient ratio: day/PM 1:4-5 patients, nights 1:5-7 patients<br>• Fast-paced post-surgical unit averaging 10-15 admissions per day<br>• Provide care for pre and post-surgical adult and geriatric patients<br>• Must be able to multitask and prioritize patient care based on acuity<br>• 2+ years Med Surg experience required with recent hospital experience<br>• Trauma Level II experience required<br>• Prior travel experience required<br>• Epic charting experience required<br>• Wisconsin RN License and BLS (AHA or ARC) certifications required<br>• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor&#39;s degree preferred<br>• Must work outside 50-mile radius of facility<br>• Any color scrubs permitted<br>• Equipment used includes Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, and Alaris pumps</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility features a 40-bed Post Surgical Care Unit that provides comprehensive care for adult and geriatric patients along the surgical continuum. The unit maintains high occupancy rates of 90-95% during the week with an average length of stay of 2-3 days.
