<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - ED ER</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work in a 27-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios of 4-6:1<br>• Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 2-3 medics with additional staffing increases throughout the day<br>• Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 2-3 medics<br>• Weekend requirements: four weekend shifts (Friday or Saturday for nights; Saturday or Sunday for days) in a four-week scheduling period<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments<br>• Must have 2-3 years of ER experience<br>• Experience with high acuity ERs, fast-paced environments with high volume preferred<br>• Experience with patient ratios of 5:1 preferred<br>• Perform procedures including RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocol with tPA administration, central line placement, care of psych patients, and transfers to other facilities (EMTALA)<br>• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC<br>• Preferred certifications: ENPC, NRP, NIH<br>• Use Meditech EMR system<br>• Dress code: navy blue or white scrubs<br>• No floating to other units required<br>• Ideal personality fit: relaxed, easy going, friendly, team oriented, respectful</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This medical center operates a comprehensive Emergency Department that provides high-acuity care in a fast-paced environment.
