Job Details:

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• See an average of 4 to 6 patients per day
• Patient population primarily consists of individuals needing short-term therapy after hospitalization or nursing home stay
• Coverage area spans 50 miles of Fort Dodge, averaging 200 to 250 miles driven per week
• Must have own vehicle - mileage will be reimbursed
• Valid driver's license required
• Weekly team meetings held virtually with monthly in-person meetings
• Orientation begins every Monday and includes general organization orientation, required online courses, 2 days of Epic EMR training, and ride-along/shadow visits
• Typically fully productive by week 3
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Traveler will be required to work 1 to 2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
• EMR system: Epic (experience preferred)
• 2 years of previous occupational therapy experience required; home health experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Iowa state license required
• Required certification: BLS
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility
• Profile must include driver's license, work history/resume, skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission, license verification, copy of required certifications, and 1 supervisory reference
