Opportunity:
Phlebotomist - Phlebotomist
Job Details:
• 13-week assignment with mainly morning and afternoon shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Approximately 40 venipunctures per day
• Patient population includes geriatric patients in nursing homes and all ages except pediatric floors
• Must have personal vehicle for transportation to and from the hospital (no Uber/taxi accepted)
• Hospital vehicle provided for nursing home draws
• Nursing home phlebotomy experience preferred
• Acute care setting
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• Completion of Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant training required
• Required certifications: BLS Certification, Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) via NPS Certificate, Certified Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) via ASCP Verification
