Physical Therapist Job in Gainesville, FL

HCA Florida Gainesville Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning March 26, 2026. You'll work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in a 30-bed rehabilitation unit as part of a new hospital and unit startup.

Your Role

• Conduct patient evaluations and functional assessments
• Provide therapeutic exercise and gait training
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and patient transfers
• Perform family and patient education
• Deliver functional training using standard IPR gym equipment, including balance and gait systems
• Manage a patient ratio of 7:1

Schedule & Compensation

• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Weekend rotation required for call coverage
• Weekly pay: $1,971

Team & Environment

You'll collaborate with a 22-member team of PT, OT, SLP, and technical professionals within a modern facility using Meditech (Expanse) documentation system.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• Therapy degree
• Light gray scrubs required for dress code
