Operating Room RN Job in New Braunfels, TX

You'll work as an RN in the Operating Room at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital New Braunfels, serving a diverse surgical population across multiple service lines. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 8, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday
• Multiple shift options available: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (2 positions), 11:00 AM–7:30 PM (1 position), or 2:00 PM–10:30 PM (1 position)
• Weekly pay: $2,190

Clinical Focus

• Minimal pediatric cases with diverse surgical service lines
• Cover gastrointestinal (GI) procedures on call and during the week, as the facility does not maintain a dedicated GI team
• Service lines include general surgery, urology, gynecology, vascular, orthopedic, and neurology
• Reconstructive plastics, podiatry, and cardiovascular procedures
• Work with advanced robotic systems including XI, DV5, and ION platforms

Requirements

• Current RN license in Texas or compact state
• BLS certification required
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• Special days off requests must be submitted and approved prior to hire
