Pharmacist Job in Rhinelander, WI

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week contract position. You will work in a central inpatient pharmacy setting, managing multiple concurrent responsibilities in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Schedule and Hours

• Monday through Friday: 10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend in rotation
• Every other holiday in rotation
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• May be placed on low census call with a 2-hour call back minimum

Key Responsibilities

• Verify Epic orders in the central inpatient pharmacy
• Check and supervise technician work
• Answer pharmacist phone calls and address clinical inquiries
• Provide inpatient and outpatient IV therapy
• Compound inpatient unit dose medications
• Cover pharmacy services across inpatient and outpatient surgery, Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, and ED

Requirements

• Valid Wisconsin Pharmacist License
• Epic charting experience required
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital experience preferred
• Doctorate of Pharmacy preferred but not required

Compensation and Benefits

• Weekly pay: $3,550
• Hospital scrubs provided
• Start date: July 20, 2026
