ED Registered Nurse Job in Greensboro, NC

Cone Health – The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department in Greensboro, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Two weekend shifts or four weekend days required per 6-week period
• Holiday coverage as needed; no call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $2,047.68
• 24-hour orientation provided

Role Responsibilities

• Care for adult patients only in a 63-room emergency department handling approximately 180 visits daily
• Manage a patient ratio of 4–5 patients
• Subject to float to any campus if needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass mandatory EKG exam during compliance (two attempts allowed)
• First time travelers accepted
• Local radius restriction of 50 miles

Preferred Qualifications

• CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Previous Charge RN and Level 2 Trauma experience
