Med Surg RN Job in Albany, GA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. This is a 119-day travel assignment starting April 27, 2026, with 3x12 night shifts.

Your Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, nights
• Thursday through Sunday blocked schedule
• Every other weekend requirement
• On-call required for low census situations
• Rotate holidays with permanent staff
• 12-hour cancellation policy every 2 weeks

Your Role

• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Float to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and JFW units as needed
• Manage telemetry monitoring across different units
• Work with BIPAP, CPAP, vapotherm, and Draeger ventilators
• Must be flexible with changing assignments during shifts
• Work within strict 75-mile radius rule

What You'll Need

• Current RN license
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• 2 years of Med Surg experience with 1 travel assignment, OR 4 years of experience without travel required
• BSN degree not required
• Caribbean blue scrubs required

• MEDITECH electronic medical record system
• Floor-specific orientation provided
• Interview with Medical Solutions RN required

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,102.40.
