ED RN Job in Fredericksburg, TX

Methodist Hospital Hill Country is seeking an RN for their Emergency Department. This is a 13-week contract position beginning June 25, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour nights per week
• Duration: 91 days
• Weekly pay: $1,839.60
• Every other weekend required; no on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Current RN license
• 3+ years of recent emergency department experience
• TNCC, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

Clinical Responsibilities

You will manage a patient ratio of 1:2–3 and perform a wide range of emergency procedures including STEMI protocol, stroke protocol, conscious sedation, chest tube placement, codes, intubation, laceration repair, antivenom infusion, and orthopedic splinting.

Equipment and Systems

You will work with Philips monitors, Hill-Rom beds, Omnicell, GE EKG machines, Lifepak 20e defibrillators, Lucas devices, and Verathon bladder scanners. The facility uses Meditech Expanse EMR.
