Respiratory Therapist Job in Houston, TX

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment at Woman's Hospital of Texas in Houston, TX. You will work in the Cardiopulmonary unit on the 4th floor, providing respiratory care in PICU and NICU settings.

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Duration: 91 days, starting July 6, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,708.20
• Patient ratio: 7:1 with 8–9 dayshift staff members
• 4 weekend shifts required per four-week schedule

Requirements:

• Current Respiratory Therapist license
• Level 3 NICU experience or pediatric critical care experience required
• NRP certification and delivery experience required
• Active certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NRP
• PICU and NICU experience mandatory; adult-only experience will not qualify
• Fast learner with delivery room experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform intubations and surfactant administration
• Manage advanced respiratory equipment including Crossvent, Airvo, Bunnell Jet, Drager VN500, Hamilton G5, Evolve Nitric Oxide, pneuton, and Oscillator A
• Float as needed to Adult ICU, Floors, Level 2 NICU, Level 3 NICU, Level 4 NICU, PICU, and Pediatric units
• Be clocked in and ready for shift report no later than 6:37 AM or 6:37 PM

Additional Information:

• Gray monogrammed scrubs required
• PALS and adult experience preferred
