Med Surg RN Job in Camden, AR

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical unit at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden, Arkansas. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 15, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3x12 night shifts (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM)
• Block scheduling format
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Weekly pay: $1,814.40

The Role

You'll care for adult and geriatric patients on a 15-bed unit with a typical daily census of 6. Patient ratios are 1:5–6. Your responsibilities include IV therapy, wound care, NG tube management, and BiPAP/CPAP management. You'll manage patients with conditions such as CHF, pneumonia, cellulitis, COPD, acute kidney disease, and electrolyte imbalances.

Requirements and Experience

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• MedHost charting system experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• First-time travelers are accepted
