CVOR RN Job in Asheville, NC

You will work as an RN in the Cardiovascular Surgery Operating Room (CVOR) at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of June 8, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 3 twelve-hour day shifts per week
• 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Occasional call to stay late 1–2 times per week as needed

Your Role

You will maintain 1:1 patient ratios in the CV PreOp unit, working independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. You will perform large-bore IV starts, chin-to-toe hair removal, and medication administration. You will assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement. You will transport patients to the operating room and assist with induction, intubation, positioning, and skin prep. You will float within your scope of practice and experience as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

• RN degree and valid nursing license
• Critical care experience required
• PreOp experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Strong documentation skills and BCMA proficiency
• Proficiency with GE Carescape monitoring equipment
• Proficiency with Cerner documentation system
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdepartmental teams

Compensation and Benefits

You will earn $2,233.80 per week. A hospital-provided uniform is required.
