Telemetry RN Job in Wilmington, NC

Novant Health Scotts Hill Medical Center Crisis Response is seeking a registered nurse for their telemetry unit in Wilmington, NC. This is a 112-week travel assignment with night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM on a 4x12 schedule, paying $2,692.22 weekly.

Role Details

• Work in a med-surg telemetry environment caring for patients with conditions including diabetes, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, congestive heart failure, UTI, surgical recovery, and renal failure
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6
• Provide telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central line blood draws, IV management, wound care, BiPAP/CPAP management, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions
• No call requirement; self-scheduling system available
• Every other weekend requirement; must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Float requirement to main campus (32 minutes away) as needed
• Expected to work Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team during catastrophic events

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• ACLS and Telemetry certifications preferred
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Navy blue or white scrubs required
• Complete 8–10 hours of pre-start acute care modules
• Complete 24 hours of unit orientation
• Maximum 7 days RTO (return to origin) per contract

Assignment Details

Assignment begins June 29, 2026, and runs for 112 weeks. This facility accepts first-time travelers. An interview is required before an offer is extended. Choose between 36 or 48-hour work weeks to fit your schedule.
