RN (Registered Nurse)

Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend positions available: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday OR Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 3:1 for stepdown patients, 6:1 for med-surg patients
• Must have EPIC experience required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• BSN degree not required
• Work on a 29-bed flex unit serving both floor and stepdown patients based on hospital needs
• Care for diverse patient population with primarily medical diagnoses
• Titrate drips including heparin, insulin, anti-hypertensives, antiarrhythmics, phenobarbital, ketamine, and pain medication PCAs
• Work with respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, and ventilators
• Remote telemetry surveillance available - RNs not expected to read own strips
• Clinical Associates provide support with 1:10 ratio
• First to float to other floor/stepdown units when needed
• No call or standby requirements
• Expect to work approximately half of recognized holidays
• Dress code: any combination of royal blue and white scrubs
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment, 1 shift for shorter assignments
