PACU RN Job in Wichita, KS

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. This is a seasonal travel position running 91 days, beginning September 22, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Day shift: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Weekly pay: $2,102.40
• On-call required with 30-minute response time

Unit Details

• 30-bed PACU
• Patient ratio: 1 RN to 2 patients, or 1 RN to 1 patient depending on acuity
• Day shift staffing: 1 charge nurse and 12 RNs
• Typical procedures: craniotomies and orthopedic cases

Requirements and Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital PACU RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Flexibility with hours preferred
