CVOR RN Job in Florence, SC

McLeod Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN for our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) in Florence, SC. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning June 28, 2026, working 5x8 shifts on days with weekend call responsibilities. You will earn $2,920 weekly.

In this role, you will provide direct patient care in an open heart and vascular surgery environment, averaging 6 cases per day. You will assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis. Your responsibilities include positioning and preparing patients on the operating table, preparing the operating room for procedures, and performing all circulating duties with efficiency and speed.

Your key duties will include:

• Complete verification of Safe Surgery checklist using service excellence standards
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate team member activities while executing immediate directives in urgent situations
• Provide nursing interventions consistent with Plan of Care and standards of practice
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment for patient and staff protection
• Serve as communication liaison between family and operating team
• Assist in control and maintenance of supplies and equipment
• Demonstrate continued professional growth through goal setting and educational participation

You will work with confidence in open heart surgery and vascular cases, maintaining a professional image and exhibiting excellent customer service standards. Computer skills are required for patient care delivery systems. This assignment offers weekday hours with the flexibility of a cardiovascular surgical setting where your clinical expertise makes a direct impact on patient outcomes.
