ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Patient ratio of 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float required within service line and between Toledo, Flower, Bay Park, and Wildwood facilities as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required with Level I or II Trauma experience required
• Combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department experience required
• Care for patients across all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Epic charting experience required
• Scrub color: Navy
• Free parking available
• No block scheduling available
• Locals within 50 miles not accepted
• Required skills include:
   - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
   - Blood product administration
   - Central line care and management
   - Phlebotomy and starting IVs
   - Continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressors
   - Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
   - CVA, neuro-trauma, and traumatic brain injury management
   - Ortho-trauma
   - CPAP/BiPAP management
   - Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
   - Ventilated patient care
   - Gunshot wound care
   - Triage
   - Isolation precautions/PPE
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
