Job Details:

• Work 10-hour night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Tuesday through Friday with scheduling flexibility
• No on-call responsibilities
• Acute care setting
• Perform head and neck, whole body, and procedural ultrasound studies
• MSK and vascular imaging are not performed in this department
• Average of 30-40 scans per 10-hour shift across 4 technologists
• Work in a 4-room department with two outpatient rooms and two inpatient rooms
• No IV starts required
• Utilize EPIC for charting and McKesson PACS for imaging
• Operate GE and Philips ultrasound equipment
• Work alongside an in-house radiologist and lead tech
• Light blue scrubs required - provided by facility or bring your own
• Department-specific orientation of approximately 1-2 weeks depending on experience
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
• Required certifications: BLS, RDMS, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Abdomen (RDMS-AB) via ARDMS
• OB certification is helpful but not required
• Must have experience with head and neck scans and body scanning
• BSN not required
