OR Registered Nurse Job in Lawton, OK

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 91-day travel assignment in the Operating Room at Memorial Health System of Southwest Oklahoma in Lawton, OK. This is a full-time position working 5x8 hour day shifts.

Position Overview

You will provide direct nursing care to patients throughout surgical and medical procedures. Your responsibilities include preparing patients for surgery, monitoring their condition during procedures, and supporting the recovery process. You will also communicate procedure outcomes and potential outcomes to patients and coordinate care with the surgical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care across all phases of surgical procedures
• Prepare patients for surgery and ensure proper preoperative protocols are followed
• Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to patient needs
• Provide postoperative recovery monitoring and patient education
• Communicate clearly with patients about procedure outcomes
• Participate in on-call coverage with 1–2 weekend call days per 13-week period

Requirements

• Current Oklahoma nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in OR nursing
• CVOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) certification preferred
• Valid work history documentation and permanent address verification required for profile completion
• No special scheduling requirements

Assignment Details

Start date: June 15, 2026. Duration: 91 days. Weekly pay: $2,448. This position includes on-call responsibilities; you should expect periodic weekend coverage as outlined.
