Opportunity:

RN - OR Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts with rotating days off and call responsibilities
• 24-40 hours of call required in a 4-week scheduling period
• Call is self-assigned in randomized order
• Day shift schedule
• Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population specific characteristics
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and patient teaching
• Complete timely documentation and promote respectful clinical environment
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities
• Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff
• Complete all mandatory education and competency assessments
• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required (Bachelor's preferred)
• RN license (single state or compact) required
• BLS certification required upon hire
• Less than 1 year experience required with direct patient care preferred
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills required
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills required
