Float RN Job in Augusta, GA

AU Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a float position in Augusta, Georgia. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 5, 2026.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Four ten-hour day shifts per week
• On-call requirement: 2–3 weekdays per month
• Weekly pay: $2,131.20

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to population-specific needs
• Coordinate safe, quality patient care delivery and documentation
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and bedside shift reports
• Serve as preceptor and mentor to nursing staff and students
• Support evidence-based practice initiatives and performance improvement activities
• Maintain compliance with healthcare system policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Complete mandatory education and ongoing professional competency assessments

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience
• Current RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
• BLS certification required upon hire
• ACLS certification required within 180 days of hire
• Associate's degree in nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred)
