Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• 36 or 48 hour contract options available
• Weekday shifts with every other weekend required
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• 29-bed Medical Surgical/Oncology unit serving adult patients
• Care for medical and surgical patients battling cancer, palliative care patients, urological patients, and telemetry patients
• Provide family education on oncological processes
• Patient ratios of 4-5:1 during days and 5-6:1 during nights
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Oncology experience preferred but not required for strong candidates
• Required certifications: BLS, ONCC/ONS (Chemo)
• Charting system: Cerner experience required
• WV or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for submission
• Required skills include: Telemetry, Central Line Draws, Ports, Blood Administration, PCA Pumps, Bone Marrow Aspiration Assist, and Pleurx Chest Tubes
• Chemotherapy administration experience preferred (within 1 year)
• Special equipment used includes: PCA, CBI, Feeding Pumps, and Bladder Scanner
• Scrub color: Royal Blue/White (RN)
• Blocked schedule requests can be accommodated
• Please limit holiday RTO requests to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays
