On-call duties are expected weekdays (approximately 2–3 times per month) and weekends (2 times every other month).

  • Perform 2-D and 3-D echocardiography, color Doppler studies, and portable cardiac imaging
  • Work with adult acute care and outpatient populations, including Emergency Department and ICU settings
  • Complete 7–8 patient cases during 8-hour shifts and 8–10 cases during 10-hour shifts
  • Chart in Epic and maintain detailed patient documentation
  • Be available for emergency response during hurricane season (June–November)

Requirements

  • Current ARDMS RVT/RDCS (AE) or CCI RCS/RVS certification, plus BLS
  • Minimum 1 year of echosonography experience
  • Willingness to float to sister facilities within a 60-mile radius
  • Radiation badge (agency-supplied)
  • 40-hour facility orientation

  • Weekly pay: $2,246.40
  • Guaranteed hours; facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
  • Parking: $20 one-time fee for nights and weekends only

First-time travelers are welcome. You must be able to respond to emergency protocols during hurricane season and maintain flexibility for on-call and weekend assignments. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to cardiac patient care at a major academic medical center.
