Medical Lab Technician Job in Lufkin, TX

Woodland Heights Medical Center is seeking a Medical Lab Technician for a night shift position in Lufkin, Texas. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 4x10 nights, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
• No on-call requirements, though you may be asked to cover a shift as needed
• Floating required within the lab
• No 48-hour shifts and no block scheduling

Your Responsibilities

You will run diagnostic tests as a generalist across multiple lab disciplines, including blood bank, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, serology, chemistry, and limited microbiology.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the lab disciplines listed above
• MT/MLS ASCP or AMT certification required
• Associate's degree required
• Allied Health Professional credential

Additional Information

• Red/black scrubs required
• EMR system: MEDHOST
• You must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility

Compensation

Weekly pay is $1,460.
