ED RN Job in Hartford, CT

Join Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center as an RN in the Emergency Department. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every other weekend rotation required.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift: 3 nights per week, 12 hours each
• Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: June 29, 2026

What You'll Do:

• Deliver emergency nursing care to patients presenting with acute conditions
• Manage patient flow and bed assignments as directed
• Handle emergency department holds when needed
• Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records

What We're Looking For:

• Current RN license in Connecticut
• Experience working in a hospital emergency department
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, unpredictable setting
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing patient needs

Compensation:

Weekly pay: $2,496.78
