Medical Lab Technician Job in Deming, NM

You'll work as a Medical Technologist at Mimbres Memorial Hospital in Deming, New Mexico. This is a 91-day travel assignment running 3x12 night shifts, scheduled Friday through Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. You'll earn $1,808 weekly.

In this role, you perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to support physician decision-making for diagnosis and disease monitoring. Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct testing across Blood Bank, Microbiology, and Chemistry according to standardized procedures
• Prepare samples for analysis and testing
• Analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical value thresholds
• Document findings and communicate results within established protocols

To succeed in this position, you'll bring:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Blood Bank, Microbiology, and Chemistry
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Current ASCP Medical Technologist certification
• Prior travel healthcare experience
• Knowledge of standard laboratory concepts, practices, and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during night shifts
