X-Ray Technician Job in Ithaca, NY

Cayuga Medical Center is seeking an X-Ray Technician for a per diem position supporting OR, ER, and inpatient services. You will work across multiple imaging environments in a 209-bed hospital setting.

Your Role

As an X-Ray Technician, you will perform routine radiography imaging procedures and assist with a variety of specialized imaging tasks. You'll work in 3 walk-in X-ray rooms and 1 Interventional Radiology suite, gaining exposure to diverse clinical situations.

Responsibilities Include

• Perform routine radiography imaging procedures
• Assist with Fluoroscopy procedures including barium exams, arthrograms, myelograms, and hysterosalpingograms
• Support trauma cases and Operating Room procedures
• Assist with Interventional Radiology cases such as nephrostomy tubes, drainage catheter placement, power port removals, tunneled catheters, and pelvic venograms
• Demonstrate knowledge in radiation safety and sterile technique
• Provide quality service and safe care to patients, visitors, and staff
