Cath Lab Technologist Job in Clearwater, FL

You'll work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida, on a 4x10 day shift schedule. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting August 3, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,462.40.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform left and right heart catheterization, CTO, complex PCI, peripheral and complex peripheral interventions, and carotid stent procedures
• Assist with cardiac stent placement, IVC filter placement, Impella insertion, PCI, PTCA, and thrombectomy/thrombolysis
• Place EKG leads and perform rotablader atherectomy as needed
• Maintain sterile field as scrub technologist
• Work across 3 rooms on the unit
• Float within the hospital as required
• Be available for on-call duties

Patient Population

You'll treat adults and geriatric patients with diagnoses including chest pain, NSTEMI, STEMI, valve disease, and pulmonary hypertension.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience
• Travel experience required; must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
• Current ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, and/or CCI RCIS certifications
• Florida license or compact license
• Pass EKG exam (3 attempts allowed)
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Philips Imaging Equipment, Philips Xper, and Manifold equipment experience preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred

You'll wear red scrubs. Block schedule availability may be discussed with your manager based on facility needs.
