ED Registered Nurse Job in Midland, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Emergency Department at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas.

Assignment Details

• Specialty: ED (Emergency Room)
• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Duration: 84 days
• Start date: May 11, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,099.52

Role Requirements

You will care for patients of all ages—neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics—in a 42-bed emergency department with a daily census of approximately 200 patients. You must have a minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience in a facility of equivalent size (40+ bed ER, 200+ visits per day) and recent ER travel experience within the past 6–8 months. Level II or III trauma experience is required.

Certifications and Qualifications

• Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (willing to obtain if offered)
• Preferred: NIHSS, NRP
• Preferred: Cerner charting system experience
• Active Texas nursing license required before start date (pending license accepted with credential submission)

Comprehensive Skills

You will deliver comprehensive emergency care including trauma care, cardiac care, pediatric emergencies, and psychiatric holds.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be willing to work some holidays
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility are not eligible for this assignment
• On-site drug screening required with multiple panel testing
• Hard documentation due 3 business days prior to start date
• Flu vaccine required (medical and religious exemptions allowed)
