Respiratory Therapist Job in Sidney, MT

Sidney Health Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in Sidney, Montana. This is a night shift position with a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, working 3x12 hour shifts per week at $1,832 weekly. You will begin on October 18, 2026.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality respiratory treatments and testing to patients across all age groups, including newborns
• Operate and maintain various respiratory equipment with current knowledge of equipment protocols
• Perform diagnostic testing including EKGs and 6-Minute Walk Tests (6 MWT)
• Assist patients and families with education on respiratory diseases and related medications
• Contribute to discharge planning and successful patient transitions
• Work across both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings
• Maintain proficiency with the EPIC electronic health records system

Requirements:

• Current Montana state license as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist
• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS
• Demonstrated experience working with newborns
• Strong communication skills and ability to function effectively within a team-based care environment
