ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts with a 36-hour weekly guarantee
• 12-hour night shifts
• 2 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA), TNCC
• Work in a 30-room emergency department, all private rooms, including a six-room EDOU observation unit
• 6 fast track beds with a PA to handle minor non-urgent issues
• 1 seclusion room plus an additional 5 monitored rooms
• Level IV Trauma Center
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
• Average of 100 patients seen per day
• Support staff includes 5 techs during peak hours
• Common patient types include trauma, cardiac, and neuro
• EMR system: Allscripts - Sunrise
• Medication system: Omnicell
• Scrub color: any color except all black; scrubs not provided
• Cancellation policy: 3 per 13-week contract
