Telemetry RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 12-hour shift position on our specialized neurological unit. You will care for patients with stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Guillain Barré Syndrome, and other neurological conditions in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Work rotating shift schedules including days, evenings, and nights
• Provide weekend and holiday coverage as required
• Respond to on-call and callback responsibilities as needed
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities per unit needs
• Monitor patients using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology in our Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary specialty team for patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
• Work up to 48 hours per week at regular time rate

What We Need From You

• Minimum two years of nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Current New York RN license (NY licenses only accepted)
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification highly preferred

This is an 89-week assignment starting May 11, 2026. You will earn $2,368.08 per week.
