ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts with every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment with bi-weekly Tuesday orientation start
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
• 1 year of recent Cerner experience required
• Missouri RN license or compact state license required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for all shifts
• 36-hour orientation period
• Must pass EKG exam on orientation day with 80% or higher score
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC (must be current)
• CPI certification required (can be obtained during compliance)
• 42-bed emergency department treating all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• May float to all competent units within facility
• CEU requirements: 4 stroke, 8 trauma, and 4 cardiac CEUs must be completed ASAP
• 4 hours of pre-start modules required (non-billable)
• Must complete assigned HealthStream modules throughout assignment
• Trauma Level II experience required, Level I experience preferred
