ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - MICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Minimum 2+ years of MICU/MSICU experience required
• Work in the Medical ICU with assignments based on patient acuity and skills
• Operate ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
• Document using Meditech system (Meditech experience preferred)
• Perform ICU procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations
• Float to other units as needed
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• CCRN certification preferred
• Active RN Texas license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs required
• Nail policy: Clean and healthy nails only, no artificial nails, gel, or next gen
• Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings
