Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Full-time position
• On-call required
• Every other weekend required
• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures
• Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed and help facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow
• Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed or required
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and image archiving system
• Provide basic MRI screening of patients and employees
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
• Follow PACS downtime procedures and escalate issues to PACS administrator as needed
• Participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances within scope of licensure
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required
• 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Basic computer experience required
• Required certification: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) from ARRT or ARMRIT
• BLS required via AHA
