PCU Registered Nurse Job in Saginaw, MI

MyMichigan Health - Saginaw is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on nights. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026, offering 3x12-hour night shifts at $2,229.12 per week.

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process with ongoing assessment of total patient needs. Your responsibilities include administering medications, performing treatments, providing patient education, and responding to call lights and alarms. You will function as a team leader and resource to other staff members, delegating and overseeing support staff while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to establish patient goals and outcomes. You will also evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in updating and revising care plans.

Schedule & Expectations

• 3x12 night shifts per week
• Every other weekend and holiday schedule
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active Michigan nursing license with LARA and/or Nursys verification
• 2+ years of nursing experience
• Neuro PCU experience required
• Recent travel work history highly preferred
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS Certification
• Skills checklist current within one year
• Supervisory reference forms within two years
• Full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and hospital policies
