Radiology / Cardiology - Monitor Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Serve dual role as Unit Secretary and Monitor Tech
• Monitor telemetry patients on the unit
• Place requests for specialty beds and swallow consults
• Answer phones, transfer calls, and place calls to nutrition for food requests
• Enter and verify orders in the computer system
• Communicate rhythm variances to nursing and physician personnel
• Maintain rhythm strips in patient charts and print documentation
• Perform lead placement (5 lead) and troubleshoot alarms
• Monitor various cardiac rhythms including normal sinus rhythm, PVCs, ventricular tachycardia, and pacemaker rhythms
• Perform regular equipment maintenance including cleaning and battery changes
• Work with Epic charting system
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required certifications: BLS and EKG certification
• Minimum 1 year experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must complete non-billable orientation modules through e-learning
