CVICU RN Job in Florence, SC

MUSC Health - Florence is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 12-week travel assignment in the Cardiac Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). You will care for post open heart surgery patients in a specialized critical care environment.

Assignment Details

• 3x12 hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 12-week duration, starting June 15, 2026
• 1:2 patient ratios
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float to like units as needed; agency staff floats first
• Facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Local candidates within 60 miles not accepted

Compensation & Schedule

• $1,944 weekly pay
• Block schedule approval can be requested but is not guaranteed
• Holiday rotation required

Requirements

• Current RN license: SC state or Compact license required prior to start date
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience (2 years preferred)
• Cardiac and Neuro experience required
• Travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Epic EHR experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Flu vaccine required (medical and religious exemptions only)
• Royal blue scrubs required

Clinical Experience & Environment

You will work with post open heart surgery patients and operate specialized equipment including chest tubes, IABP, Impella, CRRT, and temporary pacers. You must complete non-billable onboarding modules averaging 4 hours before your start date.
