Cath Lab Technologist Job in Sarasota, FL

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist in the cardiac catheterization lab at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. This is a day shift role, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., five days per week for a 91-day assignment beginning November 11, 2025. Your weekly pay is $2,336.

About the Role

You will support two cardiac catheterization labs with a team of 10 staff members. Day shift cases operate with a three-person team, typically one or two RNs and a technologist or two technologists per case. You will maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and work with GE equipment and the Meditech EMR system.

Required Experience and Certifications

• Cath lab experience
• Impella and IABP experience
• Ventilator experience

Preferred Experience

• Vascular and peripheral intervention experience
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience

Typical Procedures

You will assist with left heart catheterization (LHC), right heart catheterization (RHC), percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), shockwave procedures, pacemaker insertion (PPM), Impella support, and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) placement.

Schedule and Expectations

You will work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis with hospital employees. Night shift operates on an on-call basis only. Black scrubs are required for the Radiology department. Parking is available in the garage top deck or employee parking areas for day shift staff.
