RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies and procedures
• Utilize the nursing process in caring for assigned patients
• Complete assessments and individualize plans of care within established unit and nursing guidelines
• Organize, prioritize, and perform nursing skills appropriate for the patient population
• Document steps of the nursing process and care on the appropriate record accurately, concisely, and legibly
• Facilitate patient teaching and discharge planning and make timely, appropriate referrals
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and disciplines as appropriate
• Epic experience (Yale) required
• Working knowledge of disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways required
• Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner
• Completion of basic professional curriculum of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing required
• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Cupid experience preferred
• Required skills: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Cardiac Critical Care/Hemodynamic Monitoring, Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation, and Intravenous Sedation
